The Williamston JV traveled to Chesaning and surprised their opponents as the match wasn’t on Chesaning’s schedule. “Randy, their coach and their team were very accommodating as they stayed after their normal practice time to play us,” said Coach Phil Brillantes
“We only played 8 game pro sets due to his girls not being able to stay the entire time as well as only having six courts available. For those girls who ended up getting to 7-7, we asked if they wanted to play it out and win by two or just play a tiebreaker,” he concluded.
The Hornets won the abbreviated match 7-1. Representing the Hornets were:

1. Gilly Cobb won 8-1
