The Hornet JV squad hosted the varsity Leslie squad on Monday, May 4, 2009. “This was definitely a learning experience for my girls going against the Varsity Line-up of Leslie,” said Coach Phil Brillantes. “The scores may not reflect how well they performed as almost every match had very close games with a lot of deuces. Unfortunately, Leslie just has the extra edge of experience and was able to get those close games. What my girls noticed was their ability to win the close points as well as last 2-3 points longer then most teams that they played,” he added. “It was a great effort by our girls today,” he concluded.

We lost the match 7-1.
